ChallengeIt is essential to secure high uptime of machines during the production process. Service providers are often asked to guarantee uptime in terms of availability of machines.
SolutionAn IoT-Solution makes it possible to preventively identify breakdowns of geographically distributed machines by analyzing real-time date and act preventively.
Manufacturers often request detailed and reliable maintenance activities, e. g. that they are executed according plan, on time and with less possible downtime.
Service Providers of maintenance activities want to increase planning accuracy of this activites as well as availability of applicable spare, wear and tear parts.
SolutionIoT-Solutions allow to permanently analyze near-real-time data and thus make processes and machine performance transparent. This makes it possible to secure functionality, plan maintenance activities and adapt them to machine utilization.
ChallengeMaintenance of machines is either done at a breakdown of machines or at a planned maintenance interval. Cost appear in both cases, either by downtime of machines or wasteful repleacement of spare parts before they are due.
SolutionIoT-Solutions make it possible to forecast possible breakdowns by permanently analyzing near-real-time data. Furthermore, replacement of spare, wear and tear parts as well as maintenance activities can be forecasted.
ChallengeThese times, innovation, intelligence and smartness of things cannot be achieved by isolated systems, but through connectivity and interaction between things.
SolutionIoT is the enabling technology for machines and equipment as well as disruptive business models.
ChallengeUsually, IoT-Solutions that are not customer-centered developed are more expensive than others. This causes in higher lifecycle costs, esp. for maintenance, operations and support.
SolutionA cost-conscious redesign of the existing IoT-Solution, focussed on customer added value, usually causes in less lifecycle costs and a faster RoI.
ChallengeBigger cities usually suffer from traffic jams, noise, environmental pollution and high energy consumption.
SolutionConnected infrastructure and smart city concepts cause sustainably in better traffic flow, less energy consumption and environmental pollution and simpler processes. This makes cities worth living.
ChallengeMost of the time, real-time-data of processes are hard to collect. Thus, it is impossible to determine the desired versus the actual status.
SolutionAn IoT-Solution allows it to provide information of distributed machines in an easy, prompt and reliable way. This data can be used to otimize processes in terms of increased process flow, faster and cheaper process execution.
